This has been a good day. I can't say we accomplished all we had hoped for and more, but we did get the tree up and decorated, and made a good start, though we still have a way to go. The tree looks good, very pretty, but it may need a little tweaking when I see it in the light of day. I do wish we could all get together at each other's houses. Maybe we will be able to do that, I hope so, all warm and cozy. If there are any readers out there other than my children, you realize that comment was directed to them! I'm sure you are all nice folks, but I don't think we know each other well enough yet to be spending Christmas together at each other's houses! Even so, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas, and stay safe everyone!
I'm calling it a day.
Gram says goodnight.

I am impressed - 3 posts on your first blogging day! I laughed at your Christmas comment - maybe we can all come over next year. (actually I have to work Christmas next year). Have a great weekend.
In response to Mari's comment:
I'm impressed that you already know your schedule for next year! I have to work Christmas Eve and Christmas Day this year, but I can't complain. The kids are coming the weekend before Christmas. In order to be home then, I agreed to work Christmas Day. We are going to try self scheduling soon. We'll see how it goes. I was off Thanksgiving this year for the first time in seven years. It was time.
Hi Gram, (Sheila)...
Welcome! You'll enjoy the wonderful people in bloggyville. I've had fun getting to know your intelligent daughter, Jennifer.
Blessings, e-Mom @ Chrysalis
Thanks e-mom. You can probably already tell that Jennifer gets all her smarts from her mama. Since she's doing so well theologically, I'll try to keep myself low key. She amazes me, actually, and I am continually learning from her. It's neat how God uses our children to teach us, isn't it? At every stage of life, there is still more to experience and learn.
Sounds like maybe we have a nurse or two or maybe not, just maybe someone who knows you have to take turns working at holidays. By the way "itsagramslife" I hope you enjoy blog world it is really neat
Wow. You look so young. Welcome to the blogophere.
Look at all your comments! Fun, fun...
I like the decorating, and the kids love it, too, but everyone is so busy it's hard to get anyone else over here to see the fruit of my labor! At least this year I posted pics on the blog.
Tell Daddy that I found "The Elf on the Shelf" recently and it looked just like the one at your house!! It's popular again. I think Jan wants one. :)
